We are in close contact with PGL to keep up to date with current travel advice surrounding the coronavirus. If there is anything to update you with prior to travel, we will inform you as soon as possible.
Could we please ask that all passports and EHIC cards are handed in to school by Wednesday 11th March. Any current medication your child needs to take with them, along with a medicine request form (inhaler, travel sickness tablets etc) should be packed in the hand luggage on the day of travel. Calpol will be provided by the school.
The coach will be making only one pick up and drop off as the travel time is already substantial. The coach will depart from Chapel Haddlesey Primary School at 3.05am on Monday 16th March 2020 (note the early morning pick up) and will arrive back at Chapel Haddlesey Primary school at 11.30pm on Friday 20th March 2020. The coach will arrive at 2.35am on Monday 16th March to allow plenty of time for loading luggage and preparing the children for their journey. The children will need a pack up containing breakfast and lunch for the journey. Please do not send fizzy drinks or sweets and most importantly no nuts, strawberries or celery as there are children on the trip with allergies and airborne spores can have adverse effects.
Luggage labels are attached to this letter, if you could please ensure these are attached to your child’s luggage before leaving home for the trip. Money should be in a named purse/wallet or envelope and stored securely in a bag. Please remember that mobile phones/smart watches are not permitted on the trip. Children are invited to wear their new hoodies to travel in. We look forward to seeing the array of colours throughout the trip.
There is a Facebook page called Barlow Burton Haddlesey France for you to join for regular updates, but please remember, this is for parents and carers only, not siblings and grandparents.
