Lunchtime top table award

Every Friday, six children are selected for the Lunchtime Behaviour Award; their reward is to sit at the Top Table and eat their lunch with a member of staff.  The table is set with a tablecloth and ceramic crockery to set it aside from the usual tables.

The award is to raise and evidence high expectations of behaviour and lunchtime manners.  This includes using cutlery correctly, completing their lunchtime jobs without prompting, not talking whilst eating, keeping their own voice level to an acceptable level, offering to help others and general conduct in the lunch hall.
