Mrs Hall and Mrs Smith have been busy in the School Garden for an hour a day and have made huge progress in transforming the landscape ready for the children to start to enjoy. Thanks to their husbands, Kevin and Alan, for their quality workmanship and skills helping their wives lay the paving stones, and build the planters.
Do any of our ex-pupils remember the mosaic paving slabs? Mrs Gill, a teacher who used to work at school, and the pupils in Class 2 made them about 5 or 6 years ago and we have re-used them in our community garden. It is looking great!
Mrs Hall and Mrs Smith are selling some plants they have cultivated as cuttings. There are strawberry plants and black grass at the moment, prepared by Alex and Martha last week. If they are in the garden when you are out for your daily exercise, they are on sale for 50p each with all proceeds going back into the garden.
