National Hot Chocolate Day was celebrated this year by supporting the Yorkshire Air Ambulance charity across the federation. Mrs. Hall incorporated this event with a forest school activity, demonstrating the use of a Kelly Kettle. This is a device for boiling water outdoors using twigs and firelighters to heat up water in a water jacket, similar to a household kettle. Once heated, the hot chocolate, cream and marshmallows were enjoyed by the children. Thank you to all who donated; almost £120 was raised across the federation.
