Last term the Class 1 topic was 'Our World' and as part of this, they were looking at endangered animals in our local area and then around the world. They looked on the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) website and looked at animals that are endangered and why. When Mrs Hugill asked about what we could do to help these animals, the children suggested that we give money to charity and that we could do this by having a bun sale to raise money for WWF. We all thought this was a fantastic suggestion by the children. So, on Wednesday 20th March, Class 1 held a bun sale with donations of buns from families. The were very excited and made posters during their discovery time. Thank you to everyone who helped to raise a fantastic £99.55!
