The ‘Open the Book’ team from St Wilfrid’s at Brayton visit our school on a monthly basis and join the children for Collective Worship. They bring to life bible stories, and are helped by the children either as members of the cast and/or with audience participation. The children are always enthusiastic. Each story has its own message.
Alexandria said:- The Open The Book group have so far been to our school twice. The first time they came in two of the worship group helped them act out the story of The Boy in The Temple. The second time they came, a group of six pupils and a teacher acted out the story of The Baptism of Jesus. I quite like it when they come in because the plays are very interactive and it makes everyone smile. It is really good for the Class 1 children because the plays make it easier to picture the story.
