Chapel Haddlesey Church Primary School wish to appoint a GTA, MSA and after school club leader, who has experience of working with key stage 2 children.

We are looking for the right person to join our team who has high expectations for learning and would relish the opportunity to develop the GTA role. The teaching assistant position would be based across all 3 classes - 3 mornings with Year 5/6, two afternoons with Year 2/3/4 and one afternoon in Year N/R/1.

strong knowledge of the KS2 English and mathematics curriculum is essential and the successful candidate must hold a relevant level 2 qualification to be able to work with young children. (Please see job description for further details).

If you are invited to interview on Wednesday 6th July, you will work with a small group of children and deliver a pre-planned mathematics task to a group of Year 5/6 children. You will be given the planning the day before the interview.

Hours of work are:


GTA (Band C) 8:45am – 12:00pm, Wednesday-Friday, MSA (Band B) 30 minutes: Wednesday-Friday, GTA (Band C) 1.00-3.15pm plus one after school club session, (Band E), 3:15pm-5:30pm, on any of the 3 days. Total hours 20.25.
