Emergency First Aiders training in school

All the children in Reception to Year 6 had the opportunity to learn some emergency first aid skills this week when a trained First Aider visited.  The children learnt and then put into action how to put patients in the recovery position, how to stop bleeding and fit a simple bandage and for the older children, how to perform CPR.  Thanks go to CHAPS, our parent fundraising team, for funding half of the training costs.
