Class 1 hosted an Historical Banquet for the whole school to celebrate the anniversary of Henry VIII becoming Supreme Head of the English Church. The children in Class 1 looked fantastic in their historical costumes, some of them had made their own shields. They invited each class in turn to join them at the banquet that they had helped to prepare. They enjoyed chicken drumsticks, crusty bread, pies, cheeses, dried fruit topped off with a selection of fresh fruits an brown bread ice-cream. The children enjoyed the experience of trying some new foods.
