On Tuesday 4th July, Class 3 had a visit from Mr Ward and Miss West from The Snaith School to host an introduction to the wonders of algebra tiles, starting with representing numbers and building to solving equations with an unknown.
Following the session the children were asked to give an evaluation of the lesson.
Martin said – ‘I liked how we had to move the tiles around to make the answers to the questions and the maths teacher was very nice.’
Ruby said- ‘I learnt how to find algebra and it helped me understand it more.’
