Mrs Hall has been busy with the children in Class 3 exploring movement and dance. We are looking at social classes in the 1850’s and people’s approach to outcasts. We are watching the film “This is me” to help with our expressions, freeze frames and movements to music, to produce a pupil-led choreographed dance. The music ‘Axel’ from the ice-skating themed Cirque du Soleil show, provides the background music we are performing to. Prior to the lessons commencing, we discussed the different social classes from the 1850’s and how different societies viewed the circus. Below are some of the PE objectives we are working towards:
