The first of the World Cup dessert buns went down very well with the children. On Monday 21st November England played Iran, so Mrs Lelean made Iranin Yazdi cupcakes, decorated with World Cup rice toppers.

Ingredients:-
This recipe makes 24 servings.
2 Eggs
125ml Vegetable Oil
250ml Semi-skimmed milk
200g Caster sugar
450g Self-raising flour
1/2tsp Baking powder
2tbsp Vanilla essence
75 g Honey
Method:-
1. Beat the eggs.
2. Add the vegetable oil and milk, beat until combined.
3. Add the sugar and beat again.
4. Sift the flour and baking powder, than add the vanilla essence, honey and mix until smooth.
5. Divide the mixture between 24 muffin cases and bake at 180 degrees /gas mark 6 for 20-25 minutes.
